There are THREE non Interchangeable Cooling Units for the Office Deli Series.
This one only fits the OD173 with the Black vend motors. If you have white Motors see DLAA1375
This is a complete cooling unit ready to slide into the machine with basic tools.? No technician required as it is already precharged with Freon and Ready to go. If you tilt the unit more than 40 degrees while moving or installing it, the life of the unit will be greatly increased by leaving it sit for 24 hours before turning it on. While it may or may not work when you first plug it in after tilting it, the liquid Freon and the Gas have mixed with the oil, and need to first seperate out and then drain back down to prevent causing a faster or even immediate failure.
REMEMBER this compressor is controlled by a digital thermostat in the snack unit,? If this unit is not plugged into the snack unit, or the snack unit is not up and running.? The computer will never tell the comressor to kick on, even though it is plugged in and the fans may come on.? It will not get cold until the computer tells it to. AS of SEP 1 of 2012 The Genesis Company in new york has stopped answering the phone and appears to be out of business. We ARE currently ABLE to get most parts for most of there machines.
